Description
This is a square carved block/stamp leaf pattern. Such stamps were traditionally used for printing on fabric. These are now also used for decorating purposes.
The process of carving wood in these intricate patterns is centuries old. These hand carved wood blocks are traditionally used as stamps for printing on fabric. However, we think that these works of art can be much more then printing stamps. So here we are presenting this beautiful art form in a more functional use.
Important Points:
1. Measurement: 4 inch long and 4 inch wide. The height of the stamp is approx 1.5 inches. There might be slight variations in the measurement.
2. Wood: For making all the wooden products either Indian Rosewood or Teak is used depending on the availability. These are soft woods and are critical for the carving process.
3. Paint: The white color on the carved part is water based. It will was away when used for printing. If you want the stamp for decorative purposes and want a more permanent color then do mention it as a not during checkout and we will then put white acrylic color on the carved area.
4. Please note that we can not guarantee that the wood color will be exactly like the pictures here, sometimes we get a dark or light or combination color in wood and these things are beyond our control.
5. Do allow for minor irregularities in the shape and size as this is not an exact process.
